NVIDIA GeForce NOW regains 14 Square Enix games including Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and adds 7 others

NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW game-streaming service enjoys its share in the now-crowded game streaming market on the fact that it was one of the first to appear for end consumers. The service started beta testing for Android last year and opened up for everyone in February. NVIDIA had pledged to announce new games for GeForce NOW every week, and over the past weeks, it has kept to that promise so far. This week, NVIDIA is giving GeForce NOW 21 returning titles from Square Enix, like Shadow of the Tomb Raider, as well as 7 new additions.

The big news for this week is the return of Square Enix to the platform, along with fourteen of its popular titles. NVIDIA says that more are on the way, so that is definitely something to look forward to. These are the fourteen titles making their way to GeForce NOW today under the Steam store:

  • BATTALION 1944
  • Boundless
  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut
  • Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
  • Just Cause 3
  • Just Cause 4
  • Life is Strange
  • Life Is Strange 2
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider
  • Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition
  • Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance
  • The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit
  • Tomb Raider

For new additions to Steam Store, these are the seven new games added this week:

  • Steam:
    • Hardspace: Shipbreaker
    • Automation – The Car Company Tycoon Game
    • Power of Seasons
  • Epic Games Store:
    • Paladins
    • SAMURAI SHODOWN NEOGEO COLLECTION
    • Satisfactory
    • SMITE

Of these, Hardspace: Shipbreaker is a new game launch on Steam, having released just two days ago, so you do get some new content.

Here are all the previous title additions:

NVIDIA is also expanding the Highlights feature to more games. Introduced last week, NVIDIA Highlights uses smart pattern and image recognition to automatically detect and save key moments for easy gameplay sharing. The latest game to benefit from this is Psyonix’s Rocket League. The full list of GeForce NOW games that support Highlights can be found here. MacOS support for Highlights is also in the works, though no ETA has been provided for the same.

NVIDIA is also working on bringing GeForce NOW support on Android TV at large, with an “Early Access” official release on the cards for the future.
